You asked for it!
OK, I have been peer pressure cooked into it.
The rat must go, but the rat must also live.
The reseach I have done is not very favourable for our rat friend.
For just a few pounds I can kill him / her / them. For considerably more, I can trap him / her / them and release into the wild.
It comes as no great surprise to anyone who knows me, that I am currently out of work, and am living on the breadline. No income.... no job..... no coffee.... no hope.
The net result of my poverty is that it dictates that the rat(s) must die a horrible, painful, poisonous death.... needs must.
Unless......
.... And this is where I call on all my cunning foxy attributes, to mastermind an alternate plan.
How about this:
You can help me save a rat!!
I promise, that in return for contributions, I will dedicate captured rats to your generosity. Each contributor shall receive a certificate of ownership, and a letter of thanks from each captured rat, along with a photograph commemorating the release.
Click the banner - don't make me kill Ben!! If you don't contribute, then Ben's pain will be on your heads.... not mine!!

Missing - Presumed dead!
On a more serious note than usual, I must share my plea with the world.
On 12th March 2007, at approximately 2pm (GMT) - Huddersfield police received a report of a missing person.
The person in question, known only to his friends as family as "Tenacious D", has not been seen since March of last year.
He is described as being, white, with no hair, about 14 years old, and is 20mm tall.
Have you seen him? Do you know where he is hiding?
Any information can be passed anonymously to the police, via the Arctic Fox's blog.
Police issued the following photofit.

He was last seen wearing absolutely nothing, in the Arctic Fox's lounge, and had recently scored 2 points.
All information will be treated with the utmost contempt, and a reward may be offered for the safe return of this individual.
Police have warned the public, that if they see the "Tenacious D", they should not approach him, as he may be arme_ an_ _angerous!!
You may also wish to make use of my "Paypal Donation" button - over there on the right hand side of this page - as I now need to find at least three hundred pounds bail for the charge of wasting police time, breach of the peace, and assaulting a perfectly good blog entry.

Bugger.
I've got such a headache today.
Went out with the folks from work last evening for a few sherbets.
Think I managed some bacardi, some beer, some mojitos, some long island iced tea, and some Baileys and Amaretto. Is it any wonder my head hurts?
Spent most of today in "sorry" mode.
Picked my mum up at about 11am and we went to the local Christmas Craft fair at the parish church. Was quite a mellow experience, and it's always nice to feel like part of a community. I heard somewhere this week, that being a part of a group actually prolongs life expectancy... There ya go!!
Spent this aft, with my mum, tidying up my house. I am planning a chilled evening watching telly, and a duvet morning tomorrow. There's absolutely no rush to get up. Thanks mum, you're great.
URGENT APPEAL: I am searching for a toy for my nephew's christmas present. The toy seems, to all intent and purpose, to have vanished from the face of the earth. I appeal to all bloggers, and readers, for their assistance in trying to locate: From the "Take Along Thomas" range of die-cast metal trains, the train known as Oliver. If you can find me one to buy, then I will award you a special Foxy prize. Deal?
In other news.... my "brokeback mountain" cowboy hat arrived today.... I love it.... but don't know if it's too big or not.... Having never owned a stetson before, how would I tell? My cowboy boots arrived too and I have been stomping round in them all day. The downside, is that my royal flush cowboy shirt is too small, and has to be returned from whence it came. YeeHaw!
Have a go at this.... A friend sent me this website... It's a search engine, but this is slightly different... Try "search with guide"!!
