Been watching some films... movies.... whatever you wanna call 'em.
Been doing my daily puzzles - the usual suspects: idoku, murdle, wordle...... i'd say i was about eighty percent effective today.... idoku took way too long..... and flunked murdle, but my wordle skills were good.
I've pretty much caught up on my "quickfire" film reviews, which you can read here.
Other than that, i've been rueing the current slew of televised sports.....

And here's a little postcard off that auction site that i've stolen again..... this is a view of Catbells, a lakeland fell (one of the smaller ones), viewed across Derwentwater from Keswick end of the water.... i have very fond memories of walking up that little hill....
For several years I walked up Catbells every Whitsuntide. By the way re. films, did you catch "Song For Jenny" on BBC 2 about the London bombings? I thought it was excellent. It should still be on i-player I think.
ReplyDeletemebbe i'll have a look for that but it does sound a bit depressing..... mebbe i'll look tomorrow and see. Thanks for the tip. It was one of the first walks that me and Dawn did together..... before we considered ourselves to be walkers.... and obviously before i became a non-walker!!
